Driveway Sealing Process Step-by-Step (What to Expect on Job Day)

Day before

• We check the weather window required by the actual product instructions
• You move vehicles and trailers off the driveway

Arrival and standard preparation

We review the agreed scope and property condition before starting. A quality finish starts long before the sealer goes down.

1. Debris & buildup removal — remove loose debris, accumulated dirt and surface buildup from the areas being prepared.
2. Mechanical power brooming — mechanically sweep and loosen accumulated debris from the asphalt surface.
3. High-powered blowing — clear remaining dust, dirt and loose material after brooming and preparation.
4. Precision edging & surface preparation — detail edges along grass, curbs, walkways, garages and adjoining surfaces, using appropriate techniques and protective boards for clean lines and reduced overspray.

Sealer application and final check

1. Professional oil-based sealer application — spray our oil-based sealer with attention to coverage, finish and clean borders; applied following product instructions.
2. Final workmanship check — review the completed application and edges before leaving the property.

Hot-rubber crack filling, substantial asphalt repairs, pothole repairs, resurfacing and other additional services are not automatically included. Crack filling and asphalt repairs are separately quoted and included only when specified in your approved written quote. Agreed crack treatment is completed before sealing.

Drying and reopening

Keep traffic off and barricades in place for the actual product and conditions. Confirm instructions for foot traffic, vehicles and equipment; there is no universal reopening time.

When reopening is permitted

• Remove barricades only when instructed
• Drive carefully for the first few days (avoid sharp turns)
• Enjoy a brand-new looking driveway
